President's Corner
As your 2026 RCAMA President, I’m proud to see the strong progress we’ve already made toward our Association’s goals—and it’s only May. I’d like to extend a warm and enthusiastic thank-you to our Association Executive, Elyse. Elyse stepped into this role last December with remarkable knowledge and energy. Looking back at all we’ve accomplished in such a short time, it’s hard to believe how quickly the months have passed. She has my sincere appreciation for the competence, dedication, and enthusiasm you bring to the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Massachusetts.
Elyse’s impact is clear in our robust 2026 calendar, filled with outstanding events, high-quality continuing education, and exceptional instructors such as Charity Edwards, Paul Yorkis, Peter West, Robert Nahigian, and Craig Foley. We’ve also successfully relaunched our DealSource event and are expanding it across the state in partnership with local Realtor associations—further strengthening awareness of RCAMA as Massachusetts’ only commercial REALTOR® board. This year, we are actively engaging with local associations across Massachusetts to deliver education, build connections, and highlight the unique value RCAMA offers to both residential and commercial REALTORS®. I encourage everyone to visit rcama.realtor to explore upcoming opportunities to learn, connect, and grow alongside fellow industry professionals. On a personal note, I can directly attribute over $10 million in transactions to relationships formed within the RCAMA community. Participation truly pays dividends—not only financially, but through the lasting professional relationships and friendships our members build.
Our momentum continues! Membership has grown by 15% so far this year, supported by increased engagement from sponsors and grant opportunities. We’ve also launched a brand-new website with enhanced features, including a Members-Only section where you can access event registrations, RPAC information, the member directory, and association resources. We’re especially excited about our upcoming RPAC event this summer and are confident we will exceed our goals.
We must also celebrate our new and retiring members as we continue building our committees—and we need your involvement! Thank you to Barb Davis-Hassan, Patricia Graciano, and Paul Yorkis for their dedication to the Bylaws Committee; and to Julie Ochs and Justine Snyder for their leadership on the Education and Events Committee. I’m also deeply grateful to our Executive Committee for their ongoing commitment and hard work. If we have missed anyone, please let us know so we can recognize all of our valued volunteers.
RCAMA serves as a statewide overlay board for Massachusetts REALTORS®, with a focus on commercial and investment real estate. While many of our members are dual practitioners, others are expanding from residential to commercial real estate, taking advantage of the education, networking, and business development opportunities that are provided.
We warmly welcome new members who are interested in growing their business and connecting with fellow commercial real estate professionals. RCAMA offers a dynamic environment where REALTORS® can learn, collaborate, and succeed together.
Thank you,
Wendy

MAR Corner
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) has agreed to a concurrency period during which agents may use either the old lead paint forms or the revised versions. This transition period will remain in effect until the necessary engagement work for the roll out of the new forms is completed. Importantly, this period will allow MAR and the DPH to continue discussions to resolve a number of outstanding questions and issues with the revised forms. MAR will have both versions of the lead forms available in our forms library and will continue to update members as we have more information. For questions, please contact the MAR Legal Hotline by calling 1-800-370-LEGAL (5342) or by sending an e-mail to legal@marealtor.com.
